Stallion profile
Craig is affiliated BD and BE, and he will be combining stud duties with his competitive career from 2012 onwards. He is a definite star for the future both as a sire and under saddle. With a temperament next to none, breathtaking movement and jump this stallion is versatile enough to produce not only dressage and eventing offspring but also horses suitable for the show ring.

Craig is the full brother to the Elite/Premium Trakehner stallion Connery; who achieved his fully approved Premium stallion status via performance testing in a 30 day test and two consecutive Bundeschampionat (dressage) qualifications in 2003. He is believed to have opened a new chapter in Trakenher breeding with his refinement, proving to be a super match for the Hanoverian and Oldenburg studbooks (also approved with). Both he and their sire Buddenbrock are leased by the Celle State Stud in Hanover. Connery was termed by the Celle State Stud director as `to be the picture perfect example of a refined Trakehner stallion` and thus a perfect match for mares lacking modernity.

Buddenbrock (by EH Sixtus) was approved in Neumunster from his sires first crop and qualified for the Bundeschampionat in eventing with Andreas Dibowski and placed in the finals however his unlimited demand at stud further curtailed his competitive career and he now stands at stud full time. He is the sire of the champion stallion King Arthur whom sold for 350,000 DM as well as the Champion stallion In Flagranti who is now owned by the Bavarian State Stud.

Craig`s dam line descends from `Corrida` with his grand dam Cornau, being the half sister to the Elite Trakehner stallion Consul. Craig`s dam sire Karo-As was the only approved Trakehner son of the successful TB Volkorn who himself sired Otto Ackermann`s International 3day eventing stallion Volturno. Whilst Karo-As had few breedings in the Trakehner world due to exportation he has proven to be an exceptional dam sire.

His first foals are due 2012 with many mares ranging from graded Trakehner`s, proven Show Jumpers/Eventers and ISH`s already booked for the coming season.

Similar to his brother Craig will compliment not only `blood` mares adding great athleticism, but will also suit a wide variety of other mares adding refinement and quality to heavier mares and even height to ponies!

Craig is available AI/fresh and chilled as a walk in stallion at Brendon Stud, He is CEM/EVA tested and vaccinated.

Stud fee for 2012 is £400 (plus collection fee/postage)
