Casino Royal became Champion of the Weser-Ems Stallion Licensing in 2007, with standing ovations from the crowd. He received high praise from the licensing committee, particularly for his very good type and excellent paces, especially his “spectacularly impressive trot” and hindleg action.
His sire FS Champion De Luxe needs little introduction. He was licensing and performance test champion (receiving four 10s), double Bundeschampion, three times Federal Stallion Show winner and is a Federal Premium stallion.
Casino Royal’s dam, state-premium mare Raffaela K, was champion mare in Weser-Ems in 2000 and German Mare Show champion 2000. Casino Royal is full brother to the state-premium candidate Rapsody K, the licensed stallion Cream de Luxe, and the top priced foal at the first Elite Pony Sale in Germany in 2007, Rolanda K.

Casino`s illustrious career continued in 2008 when he won through several rounds of regional competition to become the German national 3 year old pony stallion champion at the Bundeschampionate in September with an overall score of 8.5. He sealed the win with 8.75 from the two guest riders of the top three of the class, endorsing his fabulous rideability and way of going. In 2009 he became 4 year old pony stallion Champion at the German Young Horse Championships, a rare feat and remarkable achievement, again won by his rideability and with the outstanding marks from the two guest riders.

2008 was the first season standing at stud for this young stallion. He has several foals on the ground in the UK in 2009, and these have been very welll received at BEF Futurity Gradings and at the SPSS show in October, where one of his colts was reserve foal champion. All his foals have great movement and lovely temperaments. He is valuable for improving the paces of his mares, and it is hoped that he will also pass on his amazing rideability. It will be in 2011 that his foals start going through to the licensings in Germany.
