This exquisite young Weser-Ems stallion won the 2005 Weser-Ems licensing and was the first pony ever to be invited to the Oldenburg Stallion`s Parade where he received a standing ovation and was described as being `as close to perfection as possible` and the most stunning pony they have seen for at least 6 years since his sire, Branduardi M won the licensing. He excels in all three paces and has wonderful conformation and is extremely rideable. He is particularly valuabel for shortening long mares, improving top line and neck conformation.

Hilken`s Black Delight won the 2005 Weser-Ems Stallion Licensing and was the first pony ever to be invited to the Oldenburg Stallion`s Parade where he received a standing ovation and was described as being `as close to perfection as possible`.
In 2007, he became Reserve Champion for 4-6 year old stallions at the National Stallion Show in Berlin, and Champion riding pony at Höven with an overall score of 8.7 (no score under 8 and three 9s). He also became the Weser-Ems State Champion for 4 year old dressage ponies with a final score of 8.8.
In November 2007, he became Champion of the Stallion Performance Test in Neustadt-Dosse with an impressive final score of 8.71. He excelled in all sections, scoring highly in each, and was noted for his rideability and temperament.
2008 was set to be an extremely exciting year for Delli with the expectation of him competing under saddle at the Bundeschampionate with a Pony Rider. However, following a horrific driving accident he had to take the rest of the season off, although he was able to resume covering duties fairly quickly. He has started back in ridden work and is expected to contest regional qualifiers in the early summer. In 2009 he qualified for the Bundeschampionate (German National Young Horse and Pony classes), his last year of eligibility, with an inexperienced pony rider. He narrowly missed out on a place in the final, coming third to the eventual Bundeschampion, ridden by the previous year`s winner. He has been sold to France where he will contiue as a working stallion and will contest french national classes. In November 2009 his first sons will be coming through to the licensings.

He produced an excellent first crop of foals in 2007, and is in demand in Australia and America, as well as many European countries. His first foal to be born in the UK was remarkable for his strength, lovely topline and conformation, promising gaits and character. He continues to impress and is now a stunning and higly promising stallion prospect. His full brother has inherited similar conformation and presence and is equally exciting. In 2009, he is expecting 7 foals in this country, and many more in Germany, Australia, USA and the rest of the EU. In November 2009 he had three sons licensed, one of whom became Champion in Weser-Ems! Foals can be registered with the German Verbands and also can be registered with your mare`s registrant in UK, now including The SPSS. |
