Brego is a registered Spanish Mustang Stallion from foundation stock, and will be available to cover selected non Spanish Mustang mares during the 2010 season.

He has a `can do` attitude and a willingness to please which, when coupled to his people friendly nature, endears him to everyone who meets him. He has a powerful jump, a huge canter stride, great agility, and seemingly endless stamina.

In the USA Spanish mustangs are still used for cattle work, but they also compete successfully at many English and Western equestrian disciplines including endurance, show jumping, eventing, dressage, hunting, polo, driving, barrel racing as well as being leisure horses.

The Spanish Mustang of today is a rare breed that is directly descended from the horses the Spaniards took to the New World in the 1400`s. The breed was nearly lost in the late 19th early 20th centuries, but was saved by the dedication of a small group of enthusiasts.

The Spanish Mustang should not be confused with the BLM Mustang (or `Mustang`) which is a different breed and has different characteristics
