Minsmere Sunseeker has all the attributes of a star pony, he is an exceptionally well bred Registered Connemara with very good bloodlines on both sides of his pedigree. He is by Tiercel Woodman out of Minsemere Sundew and his breeding goes back to the outstanding Leam Bobby Finn, Carna Bobby and Wisbridge Golden Rebel.
He has proved an ideal match not only for pure bred Connemaras but also other breeds of ponies and small horses including thoroughbreds and has produced a number of exceptionally good part bred foals, which are taking Championships in Hunter classes. His excellent temperament, conformation and lovely paces make him a good choice for these purposes

First ridden show, broken 10 weeksAlthough only lightly shown in his life, the results speak for themselves, first time out, as a 2 year old, he won the youngstock Connemara class at Ponies UK and then stood reserve Champion. He was also third at the Connemara Breed Show in the 2 and 3 year old Stallion Class.
Then as a four year old at the East Anglia Native Show, having won the Connemara stallion class, he was then breed Champion and also Champion of all Mountain and Moorlands, gaining qualification for the Royal International Horse Show, where he then went on to win the Large Mountain and Moorland class.
As a five year old, his first outing was at the BSPS Championships where he qualified for the Mixed Novice Mountain and Moorland Heritage class at Stoneleigh. He won his first ridden class as a four year old and has won or been placed every time out under saddle.

Gorfenletch MerlinHis youngstock inherit his good looks and movement and are now winning in hand and under saddle and going on to Event, Show jump and Dressage proving him to be an excellent all purpose sire. One of his daughters Glenwoodstud Skyline 4 year old 1st time out won a heritage class. Gorfenletch Merlin is also following an excellent show hunter pony career with many wins. Glenwoodstud Lovebird a two year old has never been unplaced and was reserve champion at the Scottish Connemara show 2008 and winner of the 3 year old class at the Northern Breed Show 2009 and Glenwoodstud Dun in the Sun was never unplaced in-hand being champion and reserve. He was broken in the early part of 2008 and after winning the ridden class at Dumfries has qualified for the Rosemeen Ridden championships at the Annual Breed Show 2010. His youngsters are also proving very easy to break. Some of his youngstock can be seen.
