Santo Hit is a beautiful homozygous black Oldenburg Stallion by the legendary World Young Horse Champion and unique performance producer `Sandro Hit` out of a Weltruhm x Matcho AA Mare.
Santo Hit has a deep rooted performance pedigree so it is no surpise he is a dressage model in both his movement, temperament and type. He combines stunning looks with superb conformation and rideability, inheriting an elegant forearm action from his sire and a powerful hind leg action with quick reflexes from Weltrhum through his dam Waikiki. Santo Hit has a big ground covering walk that swings through his whole body, a trot that moves in an uphil direction with both elegance and power and a supreme highly engaged canter.
After gaining a prestigious Oldenburg License, he quickly went onto start proving himself under saddle when at the tender age three when he did a successful performance test in Germany. His achievements make his foals eligible for Oldenburg Registration.
Hit sire Sandro Hit needs little introduction, he is a legend in his own lifetime. His quality as a dressage horse became obvious when he won the German National Young Horse Championships and the World Young Horse Championships, but what has really made Sandro Hit exceptional is his unique ability as a performance producer. His offspring reach the highest accolades at Licensing Events, in Auction Halls and in Competition.
The dam Waikiki is by the Hannoverian State Stud stallion Weltruhm (Weltmeyer x Nevado xx x Sesam). Weltruhm was very successful in his performance test, winning the dressage section out of forty-one stallions. He combines excellent paces, correct conformation and an attractive appearance with super rideability, which he passes onto his offspring.
In the third generation is the stallion Matcho AA, this Anglo-Arab stallion came from France, where the French Anglo-Arabian breed- not a direct cross breed between Thoroughbreds and Arabs was almost a breed on its own. After he was bought by the State Stud, he won his performance test against Hanoverian stallions. He is important as a refinement stallion, with larger-framed mares. His offspring well know for their very good temperaments and rideability, with good gaits, as well as show-jumping talent.
With such a powerful pedigree we expect Santo Hit to be a dominant producer of rideable, talented and beautiful dressage horses and look forward to his first foals in the coming weeks.
