Stallion profile

Robbie is a wonderful example of a true Welsh Mountain Pony.

Standing just short of 12hh, he has size, substance and of course, the added bonus of colour!

Robbie is sired by the supremely handsome Northgrove Bouncing Boy out of the lovely Dowlais mare Ballerina.

He has the most beautiful chiselled features, huge eyes & tiny ears, a fantastic front & shoulder & an abundance of feather & good flat bone. His movement is superb - straight & true with plenty of power in his hocks. He looks to be an ideal sire of driving ponies as he throws his tremendous shoulder in his foals. His bloodlines include Revel, Penboeth, Menai & Twyford & he passes on his wonderful good looks and colour to his foals.

This lovely young stallion is a dream to handle, will cover in hand or run out with mares and he is as gentle as a lamb with other foals, he really is a super choice for breeding true to type welsh mountain ponies M&M`s &/or childrens riding ponies.

Robbie is genetically a double dilute, this means he guarantees to dilute the colour of all his foals. Despite having grey parentage, he has already thrown the most magnificent palomino colt who has been sold to Ireland. (See photo below) which proves his capabilities to throw non grey foals.
