Landato oozes presence and is the ideal choice of stallion for anyone wanting to breed a top class horse he has a world class pedigree, outstanding quality, ability and temperament and is producing beautiful young stock with superb temperaments suitable for professionals and amateurs. He is a well put together horse with good bone he exhibits great power and scope in his movement and jump, he has rhythmical balanced paces with an extravagent trot. His temperament is second to none, he is highly intelligent and is currently handled and ridden by a female.

His sire Landadel (one of the most influential German Sires of all time) is regarded very highly as a breeding stallion and producer of performance horses in Germany, this is due to his and his offsprings hereditery transmissions of type, nobility, movement and jump he has produced many International and World cup level Dressage and Jumping horses.

Landgraf I is known for throwing horses with good temperaments, outstanding movement and very impressive jumps. On Landato`s dams side he has the extremely successful breeding stallion Cor De La Bryere. Cor De La Bryere is favoured by astute breeders especially on the dams side as he is known for his form over a jump many successful stallions standing on the continent have Cor De La Bryere in their dams bloodlines. Landato is the ideal choice as a stock improver he would compliment a number of mares but in particular is a very good cross with lighter mares. His offspring are suitable for amateurs or profressionals.

Performance record

Landato competed up to M level in Germany jumping 1.30m to 1.40m as a six year old, before standing at stud. Landato has also been schooled to Advanced level in Dressage with extravagent movement and natural ability for extensions. He passed his 100 day performance test in Germany in 2001 and came 9th for his jump out of his group with an index of 112.73 making him worthy of being a stallion.
