This very promising young stallion represents the very best Show Jumping blood lines in the world combined with excellent movements, fantastic temperament and easy going attitude.
Coronado Son is line bred for Showjumping via Int. SJ Rebel I Z (Ramiro - Almé Z), fullbrother of the worlds most successful mare, Olympic Gold and WC winner Ratina Z!
His sire, Int SJ Coronado, comes from the famous Holstien mare family 730b. He scored 10 for his Jump at his stallion test in Adelheidsdorf 1993 and has sired numerous excellent performance horses such as Cajus, Cara Mia and Cordano and several approved sons, i.e. Capanos, Carry, Cassaro, Couleur and Coronado Son. The grandsire, WC winner Corrado I (by Cor De La Bryere), won many Grand Prix including Aachen - the toughest in the world.
Corronado Son´s Dam, Ravella, has an exceptional pedigree that includes the world famous sires Ramiro, Almé Z, Ibrahim, Landgraf, Ladykiller xx and Gotthard - all of great importance for the show jumping sport of today.

Photo by LottaAlthough Coronado Son is carrying the purest SJ blood in his veins, this young stallions competition career is being founded in Dressage. This very promising young stallion has successfully competed at dressage, qualifying for both the Summer and Winter Championships in 2008.
He is consistently jumping double clears at BSJA Discovery level and has started successfully competing at BSJA Newcomers level. Coronado Son will combine the stud season 2009 with continued education and competition in Show Jumping and Dressage.

Photo by LottaThe first foals by Coronado Son were born 2008 and look very promising. He showed very good fertility 2007 with all mares pregnant inseminated with fresh semen. The 2008 season his fertility was equally high - overall (fresh + chilled) 83.3% pregnant mares!
