April 14th 2007 Scottish National Equestrian Centre Scottish Sport Horse stallion grading. Out of nineteen stallions forward only six stallions passed, four were listed, two registered (higher ranking of the two). Havanna gaining the highest average mark. He was top placed dressage stallion and top placed jumping stallion at this years grading. To pass the Scottish sports horse. Stallion grading which is judged by 2 judges from the WBFSH this time from the KWPN

5th x-rays (stallions must be free of osteochondrosis in the following navicular bone fetlock joint (arthritis) sesamoid bone, tarsal joint (hock)
and must have grades of 1 or 2 on the following tarsal joint (hock) knee joint, fetlock joint navicular bone fetlock joint (arthrosis) sesamoid bone, tarsal joint (hock)

Only stallions that pass in all sections can go forward to be included in the SSH stallion register and they go for ree assessment and must prove that there young stock is of a high quality (Havanna s 2 filly from last year gained 1st premiums under judges from the KWPN he has 1 colt and a filly going forward this year) a stallion can be upgraded and down graded he must show his worth.

The grading is taken in a number of parts
#Havanna was the only pony that was successful at the grading.
#He beat the other five horse stallions who were successful of the grading (10 where UN successful and 3 where deferred.

Havanna is owned by Debbie Maas and was bred by Lorna Shaw Lundin Links Fife a regular and successful breeder producer and competitor in the breed ring.
In 2006 two filly foals were born at the stud out of there star mares Sharodon Murron (who won champion sports pony at the Scottish sports horse shows on 3 actions) Scholland Folly (gained the highest free jumping marks at the 2005 mare and young stock grading) both fillies going on to gain first premiums in 2006 grading following their fathers and mothers footsteps who also gained a first premium as a foal.
He is know competing British dressage and is placed every time he has been out he has had a very much needed holiday this summer and is just back into work and will be continuing his British Dressage and we hope early 2008 he will be starting jumping he has already going clear round at Dabbs international arena .
This year he has 1 filly out of Sharodon Murron (sire penwisg hellfydd dam penwisg merwen) herself been a successful sports pony mare) who gained a 2ed premium.
1 colt out of Scholland Folly a rescue Shetland x welsh they will be graded on 30/09/07

Quolified on 1st outing in breed riden show ring for 2 national championships

We look forward to next year with plans to combine competition and stud duties of this promising young stallion.
