A superb young stallion bred in the purple with a pedigree which reads like a `who`s who` of Royal Welsh Champions.

Sired by a Lampeter winning stallion by the prolific winner Sup Ch. Tymor Pele, who was not only Male Champion at the Royal Welsh but who also qualified for the HOYS Cuddy final, an extraordinary achievement in itself.

His dam is by the renowned Sup Ch. Mabnesscliffe Survivor, another Royal Welsh Male Champion, herself only lightly shown but achieving winning results as well as being in the top 3 at the Royal Welsh herself.

Myrddyn has an exceptional temperament inherited from his own sire, as well as very correct conformation with short cannons & plenty of bone. He has a fantastic length of rein and an excellent tail set, combined with straight forceful movement.

He is extremely athletic and able, his calm disposition enabling him to effectively turn his hoof to both in hand and the ridden job, where he has proven to be an extremely uphill and responsive ride. He is also showing promise over various fences, and would be an excellent cross with a finer stamp of mare to create an extremely able riding horse.

Performance record

Myrddyn has only been lightly shown in hand as youngster, prefering to let him mature in his own time. He has, however, been placed in the top 3 when contesting WPCS Bronze Medal classes. He attended 2 shows this year and won all three of his classes, qualifing for Ponies UK and was Champion.

He will be shown more seriously in hand in 2008 as well as beginning his career under saddle later in the season.
