This impressive Pink Papered son of BWBS graded Stallion Atlantus, is a very striking horse with incredible presence. He is a compact horse with superb paces and conformation. . He has a fabulous front and length of rein, fantastic natural ability over a fence with an incredible will to win. He throws quality athletic stock inheriting his excellent temperament and have all the makings of tough, sound, quality competition horses. Avalon has the ability to inject quality into all types of Mares. . He has consistently produced his own stamp over and over again. Atlantus, a foundation Sire for the British Warmblood Society, is also Sire of Byron winner of the Donaueschingen Grand Prix, advanced event horses Atlantic Affair, Atalanta and Autumn Market, intermediate Eventer and Showjumper All At Sea (Clear Spring) Delta - supreme champion BWBS show 1992, Everest Early Devil ridden by Michael Whittaker, and also Grade A showjumpers Senator Free Flex, Its Smartie ridden by Louise Whittaker, Alywin, Arianna. and Quatro – (sold in Japan) winner of Newcomers Final at Wembley.
Atlantus is the Sire of numerous BWBS graded sons including Wadacre Chicko, Durfee Augite, Wadacre Aragorn and Alizar Kignaes plus more numerous selected Stud Book and medal winning Mares than any other BWBS Stallion. Atlantus progeny winnings of over £26,000 BSJA and 3543 BD points.

Avalon became a Grade B showjumper at six years, worked at medium level dressage and has hunted as a youngster with the Pendle Forest. In his career he has qualified for the Toggi Winter Championships, Royal Highland B & C Championships, Stoneways Young Competition horse Final, Newcomers and Foxhunter regional finals, Members Cup second rounds, Guiness Championships at Cavan International Horse Show in Ireland and has been placed in the Toggi Explorer Final. He also jumped 1m 40 opens with the Olympic Star Spotters in mind. He shows a classic technique over a very big fence, is ultra careful and can gallop across country with the best of them. He was well on his way to becoming a top class showjumper but unfortunately, though sound, he is no longer able to compete due to a floating bone chip in his fetlock joint which is inoperable, the danger of injuring himself further and with vets advice we decided to pull him out of competition work to retire to stud, however even at the age of 17 he still enjoys a hack through the village. His fabulous good looks have been used on numerous advertising campaigns including Baileys Horse Feeds (see him on the Digest Plus tub) and Ribble Valley Bentley (Bentley and Lotus– Lancashire).

Main Street Avalon winning working Hunter & BSJA winnings over £100. Mythical Ballard won 2 year old Hunter Class at The Great Yorkshire, Otley & Sutton & Huby show 2006.
