Redoubtable is an old fashioned type of TB with excellent conformation and straight moving expressive paces. He is an elegant horse who is short coupled, deep chested, good length of rein, excellent feet and a beautiful head with a very kind eye. He has a superb attitude and an excellent temperament. He is the perfect sire to inject speed and stamina into TB`s and quality into heavier mares. We consider him to be an excellent choice to breed: top class show horses, shp`s, whp`s, intermediates and event horses as well as top class racehorses, point to pointers and polo ponies. His champion bloodlines link him to some of the top class racehorses of all time. He is a rare outcross to Northern Dancer mares.

Redoubtable`s listed career winnings are £149,956. He is the last son of Grey Dawn II at stud. He holds the record for the first 14 year old to win a flat race in Britian since Be Hopeful in 1973! Having run 15 times in 2005 he had lost none of his incredible will to win, and is still as unblemished as the day he was born.
In 2007 he embarked on an inhand showing career:
NPS Summer Champs- 1st Hack Stallion, Champion male hack. 4th Ottergayle supreme in hand championship, highest placed stallion in 4 years and over section.Qualified regional finals veteran horse society showing champs, where he was 3rd in the Olympia Qualifer.- How many ex-racehorses of his age would still have the soundness and quailty to begin an in hand career at 16 years of age?
