Stallion profile

Diplomat is very true to the dartmoor pony `breed type`. Standing at 11.3hh and pure black, Dippy has superb straight movement coupled with a wonderful temperament. These attributes combined with his excellent conformation and sweet head have made him a multi-supreme champion in hand, under saddle and in WHP classes. He is one of the few stallions to compete in all of these disciplines whilst standing at stud.

Performance record

Diplomat has won three major star show championships as well as numerous star show stallion classes. He was Supreme Champion at the Northern Dartmoor Breed Show in 2003 as well as taking the coveted `Sire of the Year` awarded for the highest placed progeny from around the world. He has also won major national shows like Ponies Association (UK) where he stood Reserve Supreme exhibit of show and Border Union, where he took Overall Supreme. Diplomat has also won the dartmoor section of the Kingsford Ridden Final at Ponies (UK) three times in four years and qualified for HOYS in the WHP section.
