Wilkens was awarded Premium at his stallion licensing in Verden in 2006 & was one of the auction highlights selling for the third highest price.

In 2007 he stood in Denmark where he licensed Danish Warmblood. He is now also licensed with the Oldenburg Verband.

In 2006 Waterford was sold as a breeding & competition stallion to the USA, where he has twice been USDF Champions Sporthorse Stallion. He is ranked 9th (2007) in the German Dressage Index.
