The Spirit of Bear Paw is a 3 year old black beautifully linebred stallion. He traces three times to one of the breeds most famous foundation sires Ka-Maw-I and three times to another well respected foundation sire Four Lane. These two foundation sires were matched up several times to produce some of the finest stock in breed.

We breed for multi-gaited (walk/trot/canter/lateral 4 beat) Baroque type Spanish Mustangs. The Spirit of Bear Paw shows great athletism in all the desired gaits. He is bred to produce elegantly athletic multi-gaited offspring.

Performance record

The Spirit of Bear Paw has not been started under saddle. We prefer to wait until our horses are mature to begin their saddle training. The Spirit of Bear Paw, has excellent movment and should make a fine Sport Pony contender. However, he is also laterally gaited and we may promote him as gaited stallion. Stay tuned!

His first foal is due end of December 2007. Here is the mare he is bred to. Celt`s Kindlewood is herself a granddaughter of the mighty black stallion Ka-Maw-I and great granddaughter of the beautiful black roan stallion Four Lane.
