Description:
12 months test, this lorry has a sleeper cab which is very clean inside and out with a 20foot box it was converted 2 years ago and has a glasonite box which is sheeted with alluminium, it has lockers to the outside on both sides and drop down steps to the living and tack/toilet area, these areas are both unfitted but the horse area is complete, and has three galvanized partitions with head boards, heavy duty rubber matting on the floor and ramp, the ramp has under slung springs. On the outside the lorry only needs spraying (the dark patches which you can see in the photo is were the sheets were left on the ground before they were put onto the sides of the lorry and moisture got between them and oxidised them but this will come off when they are rubbed down before spraying.) we are only selling the lorry as we didn`t show at all last season due to work commitments and we will not be showing again this year so we have decided to scale down our horses to two so the lorry will not be needed.
I think that if this lorry conversion was complete and as the lorry is fairly new, then it would be in the £18,000 - £20,000 price range, and to complete the conversion i.e. the living area and to spray the outside it would approx. cost around £3,500 (although the lorry is useable and ready to go as it is, so it could be completed as an end of season project!)
I would take a new IFOR WILLIAMS 510 in part exchange plus a cash difference
